Re: Golf car club of VA
hey guys im a va native as well. i sold my cart last month and just got my new one on monday. now its time to spend some money and time getting it how i want it. i think im going with the jakes long travel lift. i talked to Tom at cpp the other day about what i should do for performance. ill probably end up machining the clutch and putting the power spring in until i sell this cart and put a v twin in another cart. i would love to go riding with you guys. let me know if something comes up in va.

Re: Golf car club of VA
Hi whitetail, since NONOEZGO is on strike from the forum, we are kind of at a stand still with the ride. I hope that we can have it sometime this summer. Crash is a great guy and has offered his place for the ride. I hope we can get it all together I would love to meet you guys in person..
Also welcome to the forum! |

Re: Golf car club of VA
yamaha i hear you're a big club car fan i think it was you that was in favor of the jakes long travel lift am i correct? i was looking at that lift, the all-sport, and the stretch plastics. i am leaning toward that jakes but i also like the looks of the stretch as well. my least favorite is the all-sport so i think that one is probably out. also do you know what size tires i can use with those lifts. i was debating between 23 or 25. i really hope we do a ride in va so i can meet you guys as well. thanks for a great site.

Re: Golf car club of VA
Hey whitetail...
Im not a pro on this at all and I have MANY members that will agree! I have a 7 inch lift and I run 23 inch all trails on mine. I have aboslutley no rubbing issues and I could easily get larger tires if I wanted to. It also depends on what kind of tires you want to get... Also you have a PM! |
