If he is going to use the jack shaft with the cvt that would be great. I understood he was just using sprockets and chain with the jack shaft. Sorry if I misunderstood.

The bike and atv swappers have transmissions but the snowmobile only has the cvt. Look on the snowmobile sites for tons of info. I did a lot of reading before doing my 440 cc snowmobile engine into the harley cart. I finally ended up with a retuned snowmobile primary with the stock harley cart's secondary.
I'm guessing with your set up, You come out of the hole very good. But top is about 35-40???

It can smoke the tires and top speed is more like 30-35. Untested I might add.

Ok now we are getting somewhere. I am using both systems. Primary snowmobile clutch mounted to motor with belt to snowmobile driven clutch that is mounted to a jack shaft. On that same jack shaft there will be a sprocket with a chain to a larger sprocket mounted to the axle with. Will this work?

Yes that sounds great. Glad you have the space for that. I would love to gear Suzi up more but things are already very tight.

I will be running 22's. I learned the hard way that the secondary mounted directly to the axle doesn't work hens the jack shaft idea. I will move the motor forward enough for the secondary to clear the axle and mount a jack shaft. Will my future set up work. 13T/60T sprockets.
