Self discharge rate varies a lot depending on temperature, how clean the batteries are, age, etc. The only thing you can really do to minimize t is to make sure your batteries are nice and clean on top.

I haven’t checked this thread lately and really appreciate the responses. I was concerned about the self discharge in my battery pack over time. Usually after about 7 days it’s down to about 49.7v, 49.8v. In knowing the self discharge rate is about 1% of the remaining capacity per day, my 4 yr old 12v Interstates are obviously showing their age. Like Volt pointed out, I have been keeping them clean which is frequent due to some acid pooling on top due to gassing during and after charging. And who knows what these batteries went through before I bought the cart? For one thing I do know the lights were connected to one of the 12s, which caused an imbalance as Gorno diagnosed in an earlier thread.
