Default Brake light

One of my golfing buddies has a 2006 precedent. His left brake light is very dim most of the time. Sometimes when he has his foot on the brake it looks normal, then when he sets the park brake the left side goes to about half brightness, more like a tail light brightness. He is too lazy to fix it or get it fixed. I have to look at it 3 or 4 days a week, and was just wondering what it could be.

I'm thinking he may have water in the pedal switch, if so the longer he goes with it like this the more damage it will do. I have never taken one of these apart, how much trouble would it be? Could it be done in a few minutes after a round of golf.

I am surprised he has let it go this long, he has a 1955 nomad that is show room clean. The cart is always clean and seems to be well taking care of.

It just bugs me.

I guess the light would need to be pulled to take care of that. Problem is why does it work at times when he has pressure on the pedal?

All the time when pedal is held or occasionally? It is not the pedal switch or both lights would be dim. Could be a loose connection too.

Ok , do both lights get power from one wire on the switch. Is there a wiring diagram in the stickies for this cart?
