Default Putting G2 in storage

I'm moving overseas and putting my Yamaha G2 into storage for 3 years. Any suggestions for prepping it for storage?

Just my thoughts. I would put fresh oil in it. take all gas out of the tank. Remove the carb and make sure all gas is out. Remove the spark plug and put some oil in the cyl and rotate the engine by hand a few times or use regular fogging oil. reinstall the plug. If it was me I would also block off the intake and move the muffler back and block that also. Remove the battery. Block it up off the ground so the wheels don't touch. Also position the crank that the valves are on the compression stroke so they are in the closed position.
I know that sounds like a lot but that should keep it in good shape.

Well that pretty much covered it all.

What he said. For a 3 year layup, a thorough fogging would be best. Fogging oil in spray cans is available, usually where they sell marine supplies. Good luck - RAY
