Default 95 ezgo voltage reducer question

95 36v series. the yellow control wire can either be wired to a toggle or key. if I wanted to go through the key do I wire into the green or blue wire? I cant get voltage at either with key on or off. Also i read that i didn't have to hook the wire up at all? What are my options here? If i decide to use a toggle switch where do i run the wire leaving the switch to?

i would like to use the radio without having the key on. Does this mean i run the yellow wire to a toggle switch and then run a wire back to the same battery positive i hooked the votage reducer to? does it have to be a heavy duty toggle switch or will any switch work?

More info / wire diagram or model # of reducer needed for an absolutely guaranteed correct answer.
THE FOLLOWING MIGHT BE CORRECT FOR YOUR REDUCER--MIGHT BE WRONG,,,,

On the reducers we use ( NOT NECESSARILY THE SAME AS YOURS)....
YELLOW wire on reducer is enable or on signal.
it is connected to B+ of battery pack to turn reducer on.
if connected to key switch or solenoid (for RXV.. NEVER CONNECT ANYTHING TO RXV KEY WIRES/WIRE HARNESS) reducer comes on with key switch.
If connected to toggle switch then B+, reducer comes on with toggle switch.

Yes run wire from Enable on reducer through switch to batt. pack... (follow instructions)

MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS THAT CAME WITH REDUCER .....

the yellow wire is the control wire/ signal wire. Is there a certain toggle switch I need to use or will any work?

Signal/control wire is low power line. Just about any toggle switch will work.
Find one suitable for marine use for BEST results, as carts get wet.
