Default Rear lifted and non-lifted springs

I am looking to purchase some HD rear springs for lifted 2005 Club Car President. What is the difference between a lifted vs. a non-lifted rear spring?

I think you are confusing heavy duty (HD) springs and stock springs. Both have nothing to do with lifted carts. Some carts require HD springs when a rear seat is added due to the extra load put on the cart. Adding lift to your cart doesn't require HD springs, however somtimes the HD springs will provide some extra lift to prevent larger tires from rubbing.

Sorry, I guess I did not explain my question correctly. When I go to different web sites to purchase the HD rear springs, some web sites ask if I have a lifted cart or a non-lifted cart; and other web sites do not ask the question at all. I have a lifted cart. So if I purchase a standard HD rear spring will it fit my lifted cart?

I was asked the same question when I did my lift, installed a rear seat and HD springs. I really don't see what would make any difference if the cart is lifted or not by the way the springs attach to the axle with the lift kit I installed. It may make a difference if someone was using a schackle lift on the back rather than the spacers/blocks that go between the axle and springs. But I don't see how.

There are two types of HD springs.. One has a set of 3 leafs and one has a set of 4.. I read that 3 might ride better but sag over time.. 4 is a rougher ride but will not sag on you and will handle 400 lbs easy..
