24 volt boost on electric cart
i have a 48 volt ez go series electric...ge 700 amp controller,,,ge raptor motor,,,i am gettn 32 mph now...i was gonna run 2 12 volt batteries directly to a solenoid to the motor directly to get a boost,,,has anyone have experience with this am i safe with 48 volt controller,,,,or am i converting to 72 volt when i boost????

This mod is not for the faint of heart.
If you have a good level of electrical knowledge it can be done, if not, I'm with roady89 and foresee smoke. Do you have a schematic of what you're planning on doing? |
