G1 Diff swap
Has any one swapped a G-16 rear end into a G1 chassis, Looking into the swap and dont want to reinvent the wheel. Have the chance to get a G1 and a Sled engine to put in it, but still want reverse and the g-16 rear end may be the ticket

Re: G1 Diff swap
Interesting question. Ron "The New Guy" installed a G2 style in his Geep1 car. Might want to check out his build thread. The shifter cables and f/r handle mounting and the axle housing perch mounts to the swing arm would be the only real work. Just a note: since Yamaha's aren't built with Dana (g16 style rear ends) prices have skyrocketed!!!!!! Good luck on your build.
