Default 97 club car V-glide

Hey guys

I have a club with the 5 silenoid coils
and the V-glide speed controller
and only get 8mph out of this thing
can some help me get more speed from this thing

if your only getting 8 mph i would check all the resistor coils and i would open up the V-glide box and see what the movable wiper arm and the contacts look like.......might have to sand and clean them...........what age are batteries and whens the last time they were tested and load tested.........also what kind of shape are the battery cables in..........................

you have the v-glide and the 5 solenoids? That is strange. Does each coil have a solenoid below it? A 97 should have the v-glide with resistor coils but only one solenoid.

Follow shadowman's advice, but also it is a straightforward system. If the arm is going all the way up, and there is no problems, then batteries are a big culprit, also motor brushes.

Maybe it is an 87? Anyway some question has to go to the high speed solenoid. The one closest to the passenger side. Post the serial # here.
