Loading in the back of my TRUCK
I have a 2004 Dodge Dually 3500 Series. It is two wheel drive so it isn't THAT high. What would be good to use as ramps to get the Club Car loaded and unloaded without dragging on the bottom of the cart? Most ramps are kind of steep and it seems to me that they would scrape the bottom but maybe I am wrong.
Please help!!! |

Re: Loading in the back of my TRUCK
Try to find 8 ft long ramps like the curved ones Lowe's carries for about $130.
Both the length and the arch help avoid the scraping. There are some brackets available for wood planks. I have used these on some good straight grained 2x8 with success. |

Re: Loading in the back of my TRUCK
You can combine the ramps along with backing up slightly into a ditch or somewhere and that will lessen the angle.

Re: Loading in the back of my TRUCK
There are usually 2 different lengths of ramps to buy. 6 foot and 8 foot. Get the 8 foot ramps. it makes a bunch of difference. I have even seen 9 foot ramps too. The longer, the better. You'll really be dissapointed with the 6 foot ramps for a pick up when your cart hangs up and cant make it without a ditch or bank. And, the 6 foot are the most plentiful.

One piece ramps are nicer (in my opinion)

Re: Loading in the back of my TRUCK
Backing up to a hill where 8 feet away is say 1 foot higher helps too.
