A golf cart is going to be around 1400-1500 lbs. Check the web site of your rv or the one your thinking of buying to see the max cargo weight.

An electric golf cart is significantly heavier than a gas cart. This is because of the weight of the 6 large batteries.

Whoa. What cart do you have that is that heavy? I think my Marathon is like 600 lbs. Add a hundred or so if it was electric.

Maybe it weighs that with 4 people on it. But that isn't counted in the trailer's load (although those people may or may not be in the truck, in which case it DOES count against your GVW).

Most any toy hauler should haul the weight of a cart. Issues you might run up against .... that I can think of:
- the cart being too tall to fit in the hauler (removeable roof or no roof at all).
- Length too. Toy hauler's capacity will vary.
- remember you may also need to store gas cans, charger, generator, tools, spare tires, etc. Some of this stuff will stink up an RV interior to the point you won't want to sleep in there. Loading a cart, sled or ATV that has been used all weekend in ice, snow & mud can really mess up a hauler interior. Some haulers have separate "garages" and living space.
- if you go with an open bed hauler, the carts roof & windshield will need to be able to handle highway speeds. This was a problem on my Marathon the first day we bought it.

Great information, it sounds like we will be good to haul the cart in our toy hauler. Just need to check the height as the cart has a roof.

That is considered bone stock stripped down weight.

Add 360+ pounds for batteries

Add another 1-200 pounds for a rear seat.

Add another 100 pounds for whatever additional accessories that are installed.

The only issue I have ever had was a club car with a 3" lift that had a Nivel rear seat on it. The cart was slightly too long and we had to custom modify the rear step plate to remove 3" from it. Never had any other issues but this was not a tow behind hauler, it was a RV toy hauler so the weight was less of an issue.
