Default Installing new f&r switch

First let me thank everyone for their help, bgw has been very helpful. Is there any thing that i need to know when i install my new hd f&r switch(thanks again scotty),or is it just a matter of bolting down & swapping cables and wires?

You may have to loosen the 2 main bolts that go into the floor and slide it left or right to get your handle adjusted right again, other then that its pretty straight forward.

Thats what I was told

good deal. You should be fine. Just hook up all wires and line it up good before you bolt the plate down. Also disconnect your power while your doing it or you will get a nice shock

RXP, I put mine in and it would not go. After playing with the handle I realized in forward it wasn't making contact. So, if you get it in and it won't go, do some adjusting to the rod and handle position as to make good contact in the F & R position.

The mounting holes are slotted to allow the switch assembly to slide east and west (side to side) in the cart. This 1/2" of movement will allow you to find the proper location for the linkage adjustment.
Play it safe and mark the location of the old bracket before you remove it. A silver marker or some white out will work.
