I have an electric 1998 DS, and it has a 1-piece bag well panel, and has the added access panel, which agrees with your infographic.

Golf Cart Parts Direct and their schematic drawings have always been a reliable source for confirming which parts and configurations were available which years. That plus my own knowledge working on these helped also.
