If you are in Houston, I can take a look. I just built new lithiums myself and they do not even get warm after an hour ride. As everyone else said, be very careful. What BMS are you using?

Basic electricity. Good connections don't get hot. Hot wires / connections means too much resistance. Hurts performance and reliability! I always recommend 2 gauge cables with the best proper fitting connections as possible. I really like how lithium setups stay clean for years! My one Yamaha cart has been running on Leaf cells for over 6 years now. The install looks like I did it yesterday.

I am so happy with the LifePo4 setup. So much better than anything else. No mess, less weight, can run them way down without damage. I wish I had a 30amp charger though...
