Default Epic by Icon speed adjust

Hi Everyone, I’m super happy with my 2022 Epic golf cart, it’s gets up to 25mph easily and feels like it’s got more pull speed to go, I know it’s based on an Icon so how could I get the software changed to get some more speed, really only up to 30!

Not based on icon - icon bought the epic company.
Early epics with the same 4 pin molex programming port as icons have a Curtis controller and can be programmed
With the same
Handheld as evolutions and club cars.
The more recent epics have a really
Funky 2 wire
Connector which is unknown to me. I do not have access to one at the moment to get into it, but it still
Might be a Curtis. I do know the two wires go to CAN-H and CAN-L.

@exmusic totally agree. 30mph is where the Epic needs to be. Sent mine in to the dealer for a non-working turn signal and asked them to pump the speed to 30mph. Not sure they will, but will report back if they do. I normally travel along a 35mph road and that extra 5mph will help not delay traffic that just does not want to go around me even though I am off on the shoulder/bike lane.

So I had a root around under the seat and managed to find this lead, I am assuming this is the programming lead but of course be very wrong!

From what I’ve seen on a cart with this connector, the two signal
Wires go to pins 23 and 35 on the controller connector. These are CAN-H and CAN-L. Don’t have a cart to crack this nut yet..
I haven’t been able to identify who
Makes this connector.

It looks like a deutsch connector used a ton in automotive industry.

Same just trying wrap up the detail on the cable for the marshell controller. Seems like a lot of guys on here are having trouble locating the programming port connector. Is it buried way down in there or zip tied in with that main harness?

Where are you located?

I spoke to the dealer where I purchased it from and they say they don’t have the software, I spoke to Epic though and the engineer said they had the motors running at 35mph with no issues at all!!!
