Default Click here for a good chuckle... [Pedal Powered Bike Cart]

So another one of my crazy plans was to strip down everything on a golf cart that was not needed and putting in pedals and a chain from an old bike. You laugh, but I'm pretty good with metal fabrication and such... as I have mentioned.
I've seen pedal boats...

So this can't be that hard. I thought about keeping the motor and batteries, BUT it's not going to work... the extra 200 pounds or so would totally slow the cart way down.

This is a serious project, if you have tips or ideas, please share them with me.

I would think you could build a light weight frame and drive train from tubing and just add the plastic golf cart body but you would probably need to use different wheels maybe moped wheels

By drive train you mean chain, right? The fancier it gets the harder it is to push with the pedals.
