Re: Back Seat Grab Bar Mounting
And Eric, if I recall correctly, you were in the logistics business for many years...I am STILL in the logistics business!
I got into camping in the summer of '15. Got an older 32' travel trailer at a camp ground about an hour from the house. It would be my "Safe Space" (ha ha) When I bought it, it came with an '04 CC Precedent....it's been all about that buggy since then! I am buying an old ('88 ) EZ Go marathon today (gas) because my 16 year old daughter claims that the Precedent is hers...imagine that!!! So far, I have torn it down, repainted the body and roof, added a stereo and XM. Put LED bulbs in the headlights. This winter will be HD springs (maybe just medium duty though) and new batteries, old ones are from '11. Here is a couple of pics, before and after... |

Nice!
Similarly, we bought into a seasonal campground about an hour from our house. I bought the 2010 CC about a year ago. Drove it stock the first year, and started working on it this fall. Almost done with it now, unless the speed/torque bug hits, LOL. Sent from my SM-T530NU using Tapatalk |

Re: Back Seat Grab Bar Mounting
Mine is stock except it'll go 22-24 mph....not sure what was done before I got it to go that fast, but motor and controller are stock units. 22-24 mph is fine for me at the campground. Wish it had more torque for the trails though....we'll see.

Re: Back Seat Grab Bar Mounting
Yeah, Dawg, I know it is.
Maybe next winter. I am getting new batteries in February and I'm converting from 4/12 to 6/8. The run time is what I worry about adding torque, more torque=more amps... With the batteries I have now, the daughter gets about 1.5-1.75 hours of cruising at the campground before it needs a charge. If the 6/8's can up that a bit, I will go after more torque. |
