Default Cold Weather Battery Storage/Charging

Hello everyone,

I live in upstate NY and about to store my 48V golf cart. I am curious what the best way to store the cart would be ....should I leave the batteries in the cart and plugged in? Remove the batteries?
As an FYI ... it can get down to -15 or so at times.

Thanks !!

Shawn
