Default old resistor coil club car

I just cleaned up a club car DS with the resistor coils. The last 2 coils were getting hot and burnt the mounting board.
I found a new/used mounting board in my stash pile cleaned it up now the cart runs but very slow, I had to put the reverse cable on the next battery to give it 24 volts to get reverse to move.
When testing the pack was at 37 volts. Its been on charge all night now so I'll check voltage again.

Would I be correct in thinking the motor could be getting worn out? and building up resistance to cause the heated cables.
This cart has been running around our park for at least 15 years.

it won't move unless the rear end is jacked up.

I'm going to test a few more things, Plus I can hear a slight buzz in the solenoid. I have a few of those on hand so I will replace it.

I’d try to see what the batteries are at while it’s driving (or at least trying.) Is this a V Glide resistor setup? I’m assuming it is if it has a board for the resistors.

At full speed none of the resistors should get hot or be used at all. Might be worth checking the wiring.
