Re: Did I really get new batteries installed??
1. I thought only Trojan stamps date codes in the terminals.
2. Don't buy a load tester, the golf cart is a better load tester than anything you could buy. Clamp a meter on one battery record the voltage then charge up a hill and note the lowest reading. Then repeat for all of the batteries. Post the results here if you want the experts to analyze the results. |

Re: Did I really get new batteries installed??
Sitting on the shelf shouldn't have killed them that quickly unless it was outside in severe cold.. I would try fully charging the cart overnight and then performing a load test on each individual battery. If the batteries load out fine it could be an issue with them needing a few cycles to get up and running.

Re: Did I really get new batteries installed??
I hooked my digital voltage gauge up to the wires I removed from the OEM bar meter and it consistently read about 3 volts lower than my fluke meter connected to + and - of the battery pack. Voltage drop somewhere between thr front dash and batteries. So I ran a jacketed 2 conductor cable from the meter directly to the + and - of the pack (at the charging port) so I know exactly what the voltage is doing. And eliminating all the connections in between. I'd recommend you do the same so you know exactly what kind of true voltage readings you're getting. Sounds like you've got an intermittent connection somewhere.
