Default 2002 DS wont move after lift kit install

Ok trying to help a friend out. He has a 2002 DS IQ cart (has run/tow switch).

He installed a lift kit today. When he installed the rear spacers he twisted the rear end and “pulled” on the wires. Now that everything is back together with the cart on jack stands it will turn the rear tires slowly then stop while the pedal is pushed.

I had him check all the cables and wires. Said the wires going into the speed sensor look like they might have been pulled too much.

Had him put the cart on the ground with the tow switch in the run position and selector in forward and push. The cart rolled freely and he got no resistance or beeps. Is there a better way to check the speed sensor?

Pull the cover off the controller and check those wires.

Also check the brake cables to see that the brakes are not dragging...they tend to get stretched out during the lift...

That speed sensor test is pretty accurate. That being said, bad speed sensors normally still will get you a 1/2 speed cart so there is probably more than that going on.

I agree with MrGolf, You probably unplugged the F1 or F2 spade connectors from the Controller.
