Default 98 Club car not working

I have a 98 club car regen2 that my neighbor gave me , he said it works just needs new batteries. So I got 6 new 8volt batteries and install them and the cart does nothing. From the trouble shooting I've done, I think it has a bad controller. Anyone know of a place to test / repair the controller? Thanks, Leon

Search eBay as they run $225 to $250 for service rebuilding of you own unit. Before I paid that much, I would look at our site sponsors Revolution Golf Cars - David Hicks and Carts Unlimited - scottyb as they have brand new upgraded Alltrax controllers or other options that me be a much better choice for you over the long haul...
