1989 Columbia Par Car, gas powered
I need a picture of the carburetor on this model that shows linkages for throttle and governor cables.

Re: 1989 Columbia Par Car, gas powered
Sorry, I convert out of the original carbs and run Mikunis on my carts so I can't send a pic.
There should be a service manual for your cart here and that may help: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/columbia-parcars/ There are only two linkages on that, the choke and the throttle. The choke is what it is. There really is no way to screw it up. If I remember correctly, the throttle lever on those chokes is spung to open so, if the throttle cable isn't attached to it and pulling it closed, the throttle is wide open and the engine will be screaming. Essentially, the throttle cable has to pull the throttle lever closed. |
