will a 48v cc charger work for my 48v ezgo conversion?
Just like the title says.... so I have a 97 ezgo and want to do the 48v conversion on it and I have a club car 48v charger will it work? assuming I change the plug? the cc does have 3 prongs vs the ezgo 2 prong.....

NO. The CC 48v charger is not a stand alone charger. It must be interfaced with the CC OBC to charge.

I am doing the same on my painfully slow project, I found a 48v Mac Yamaha charger and put the ezgo cord on it. Not bad for $50 when all that as wrong was a broken wire...

And i guess there is no way to trick the cc charger or bypass that feature??? sorry for so many ?'s but if I can use my good, free charger that would be super cool! but if not maybe i can sell it .....just looking at my options. thnx

Club Car chargers ONLY work on Club Cars. That's the simple version.

I hate to hurt everyones feelings but, yes you can use the 48 volt charger and it will work fine with this added to it.
 I have sold 4 of them installed on this charger and haven't had one returned yet.    |

I had no idea my post was so confusing!? Our feelings have nothing to do with it..... He asked a simple question and we gave him the simple answer. I see what you have there is a brain for the CC charger much like the brain in the OBC mentioned above. How much do you sell them for?
