Default Deep Water Cart (anyone built one)

Just wondering if anyone has built a cart that could handle water without failing.

Several have tried but not much luck once the belt gets wet.
And a bigger fail with electric carts.

Guess if a guy is going to be off the beaten path, it might not hurt to keep a spare (dry) belt on hand. Though I suppose the only one that's easy to get off is the drive belt.

I sunk my 48v in a creek after hitting a hole. I always seem to be the one that pushes my buddys gas cart when he gets brave too. We were thinking chain drive and a snorkel would really help on his. Not really sure about chain drive though.

Chain to a live axle or direct drive would eliminate the weak link (the belt). A snorkel would be relatively easy to do, but you still have the belt to contend with. Most enclosures aren't totally water proof so it just holds the moisture in rather than allowing the belt to dry. If you can figure out a way, the cart world will beat a path to your door!
