Ezgo vs Club Car and wheel balancing
Hey folks
I operate a non-profit animal sanctuary and rehabilitation center. Our property covers 140 acres. I am looking for an electric golf cart to transport myself and some supplies around the place. Since we operate soley on charitable contributions our budget is VERY tight and we struggle to make ends meet on a daily basis. I recently looked at a 2002 ezgo with 6" lift and PDS. I drove it on a paved street and it seemed to have a bumpy ride. The owner said the wheels needed to be balanced. Is that true? The price seems right at $2500. I'm also looking at a 2005 Club Car 36 volt that is not lifted but has lights and an enclosure. The price is $3000. What would it cost to lift? Please help a struggling animal rescuer! All advice is appreciated. Last edited by Sampson; 05-03-2009 at 12:07 PM.. Reason: Wrong category initially |

Re: Ezgo vs Club Car and wheel balancing
Okay, so here's how little I know about golf carts...
Do golf cart wheels need balancing? I mean, I never had my lawn mower or tractor wheels balanced. |

Re: Ezgo vs Club Car and wheel balancing
that's right, no balancing needed! so why would he say it??
it just sounds a little odd to me. it will ride ruff because the suspension is stiff to be able to haul weight or the tires are over inflated, it's hard to say. but balancing is not the reason we like pictures here!! sometimes it's helps to give a better answer |

Re: Ezgo vs Club Car and wheel balancing
Also look at the tires, as a broken belt, will cause a bubble in the tire and cause the same feeling.
