Upgrades and electrical
I have a 05 TXT 36 volt, 6" lift, 22" tires that I mainly use for hunting. I put a reciever hitch on it yesterday. I will pull a small trailer about 4'x6' with corn or tools in it. Land is fairly flat except for "Devil's Dip" (what the kids named it years ago) a dry creak crossing. I have an extra 12 volt battery located under the drivers seat, that I plan to use for lights, winch, aux. plug, and so on. I purchased a 6 circuit fuse block and was wondering where to locate it?
Any ideas would be appreciated, pictures even better!! My son in law asked me yesterday if he could borrow it for a ralley and would go half with me on a rear seat. Yes I know heavy duty springs are next. I plan to buy a 400 amp controler. I was thinking about a non programable controler, thoughts or opinions on this? I don't want a tire smoker just more torque. I could go 48 volts later, like that smart man in frozen IL. but don't think I will need too. Buford |

Re: Upgrades and electrical
Thank you that is what I had in mind. I have the ground terminal and the fuseblock, I don't know what the top one is for. I was looking for ideas on where to mount them. Under the dash or in the battery compartment.
Now if I could get someone to answer the other question. Buford |

Re: Upgrades and electrical
One nice point about the programmable Alltrax is the fact that you can tell it what type of throttle input you are using. This makes the unit valuable if another cart comes along and you want to move the controller forward.
