Default Battery terminal cleaning solution

Mix baking soda & water in a spray bottle, spray terminals wait then spray with hose. This will kill all the build up.

I've never tried this but I remember back in tech school, I was told that if you glue copper penny's to the battery, the acid fumes will be more attracted to the copper than the lead. I suppose you'd need "jb weld" or somthin to get them to stick.
Anyone up for an experiment?

Pennies are too expensive to do that with.

club car terminal protector, works most of the time..., or the little rings, they are just a pain in the butt, but work flawlessly...

I use those little Deka rings that you put between the nut and top of the cable. They seem to do a really good job.

I take the cap off the top of a spray can of terminal protectant and spray the stuff into the cap. Then I use Q-Tips to apply the protectant to all surfaces. Very tidy, no messy, and allows the protectant to get UNDER the lugs where a spray doesn't reach. Lasts a year easily.
