Did you spray the adhesion promoter over the bare, sanded body, or over the primer (under the topcoat)? |

If your question is to me- no- I primed, lightly sanded and sprayed. No adhesion issues so far and it looks great!

I sanded the body applied adhesion promoter , then I applied the sandable primer
