Steering wheel to Driver adjustability
Looking at the PDF of the '02 CC, I do not see a way to adjust the steering wheel's overall length. As I sit in the Driver's seat, there is sufficient distance between myself and the wheel. What I would like to do is to adjust the wheel to a LOWER position and in so doing, increase the distance between the wheel and Driver. Is this possible?

Re: Steering wheel to Driver adjustability
I don't know about a club car, but on my ezgo I put a couple of washers on the two top bolts between the column shaft and frame mount(4 bolt steering column). This positioned the wheel at a more comfortable height.

Re: Steering wheel to Driver adjustability
I was hoping to take two to four inches off of the steering column to adjust the wheel down for a more comfortable drive. Right now I feel like the wheel is in my face and my hands and arms are not comfortable.

Re: Steering wheel to Driver adjustability
I have thought about this also! The only way I see to gain that much clearance is to cut the steering shaft in the middle to the desireable length and weld it back together. If I do mine I'll post some pics. Good Luck!

Re: Steering wheel to Driver adjustability
Just to point out that the steering column/ shaft is a critical component and any modifications should be done by a professional, if at all. I suggest you look at some of the sand rail suppliers and see if you can get a shorter shaft that will work in your cart.

Re: Steering wheel to Driver adjustability
There is a tilt column made for these carts. Pricey IMO, but nonetheless an option among others.

Re: Steering wheel to Driver adjustability
If you would like to ship it to me I can cut it down to what ever length you want.
