Curtis PMC
I have a 92 EZGO that has a Curtis PMC 1204-027 controller, that I have discovered is bad, if I replace this unit with a 36-48 volt, 550 amp controller, will I have to upgrade to 48 volts all the way around or will this controller work until I have the funding to upgrade, Batteries, Motor, etc?

Re: Curtis PMC
You do not have to upgrade to 48v as the controller will handle anything from 36v to 48v. In the future if you decide to upgrade to 48v you can utilize the same controller and would only have to do batteries, solenoid and charger.

Re: Curtis PMC
You will also need to upgrade all you're cables to 4 gauge with the bigger than stock controller .Plus that way when you do a bigger motor if you wish this is already taken care of .
