Need a bearing holder/retainer?
Hello All,
I was having a problem with my 1995 ezgo. It would run for a few feet on flat ground but as soon as it got under load it would stall and sound as if something was spinning in the rear end. I pulled the motor and took it apart to check the brushes and armature. There was a broken piece inside the motor that appears it is supposed to hold the bearing on the end of the armature in place. I'm not sure what the piece is called and have looked on several different parts sites. any help is appreciated. Hope this isnt too vague. -j |

Re: Need a bearing holder/retainer?
I doubt if they sell motor parts like the endcap (or whatever its called), but if you go to the stickies you can download the Owner's, Service, and Parts manuals, you'll know what to ask for.
Shopezygo.com may sell it, or you may have to try and buy a dead motor to harvest it from. Not knowing what you have, I have a 2004 series motor that I'm not using. PM me if interested. |
