just added a couple of inches to his stock one I just did it because I have tubing bender and I didnt want to cut and grind,if your cart is a two smoker you wont have reverse because those carts startup backwards to go backwards the four stroke EZGO rearends seem really tough so thats what I would use!!! Good Luck on your build and as always post lots of pics us old foockers like lots of pics!!!! |

Good stuff, Todd. Thanks for the idea on the rear shocks & using the stock exhaust.

Re: 2 Stroke into 4 stroke conversion
Do you have any detailed pictures of how you attached your subframe to your cart? I'm in the process of a big block conversion on mine

Re: 2 Stroke into 4 stroke conversion
Exotic, there are many threads showing the ways different people have attached both stock swing arms and modified ones.
The way I like best is using a heim joint in the center which helps with more articulation. I actually dropped my swing arm and moved it back. I mounted mine back much like stock using a dual point attachment. |

Re: 2 Stroke into 4 stroke conversion
Here's one has anyone ever converted an electric axle to accept a secondary clutch like a gasser? 900$ for a gasser axle is way to expensive for my build!

Re: 2 Stroke into 4 stroke conversion
There have been a few that attached a sprocket for a chain drive to the electric axle, but I've not seen anyone convert one so that it could use a secondary clutch.
