Default 600 amp alltrax error codes

I have a 600 amp alltrax controller that was working fine a month ago but I went to use it today and I've got 4 flashing red light code controller over 95c now it was 0 degrees out for a while but I don't know what could be wrong. Also the solinoid isn't clicking. Any ideas?

Alltrax makes several types of 600A controllers. Are you speaking about the one identified in your signature block?

If so, and you have it wired according the the Alltrax AXE in a EZGO series cart, the solenoid should have voltage applied to one of the small terminal when the controller is powered up. (Wire from pedal switch feeds both Pin-1 on controller and one side of solenoid coil)

Solenoid not clicking could be a bad connection on that wire (there is a splice in the wiring harness that fails)
Could be a bad connection between the B- terminal on controoler to the other side of solenoid coil.
Could be a bad solenoid.

----------
Error code might be due to low pack voltage, or a bad controller.
Maybe it just does like being cold.
Alltrax says the error codes might mean....., so you've got an error that might mean...etc. etc, etc.

Charge the batteries and use a hair dryer to warm the controller up a bite and see what happens.

JohnnieB - could it be a fail on the temp sensor? - reporting over 95C when it is 0?
Could be an open or short on the sensor or its wiring.

Could very well be a bad temperature sensor, or wiring, inside the controller.

Or the error code could be a false error that is being caused by something other than a temperature over 95°C.

----------
There are two problems.
1. Solenoid not clicking
2. Error code # 4

The solenoid not clicking is external to the controller. In a series cart, it should click whether the controller is good or bad.

The Controller has to power up to give an error code and the final step is to close the Pedal switch, which also sends pack voltage to the solenoid, so we know that voltage is through the pedal microswitch.
