Default Batteries

I have worldwide batteries in my cart 8 volt. They have sticker for date but none are picked off. However there is a stick on sticker that has M9 on each battery. Is that a date code of some kind? If it is what date does it stand for.
Thanks
Mr golf

Yes the letter is the month (A=January, B=February, etc.) and the number is the year.
In your case, the batts should be from 2009, but M is the 13th letter of the alphabet, so I have no clue what month???

This is a white round quarter size sticker. Seems the guy I got the cart from did have the batteries put in sometime early 2009, from what I can find out. He was a friend that I got to know in 2010, he passed away in 2011. I got the cart from his children, we had been playing partners, for the time I knew him. They had no ideal what the cart was worth, at the time I didn't either. All I knew was he had spent 700 or so dollars on it. I thought that was what he paid for the cart. I gave his son 500.00 for it, then about a month later I took it to our local shop to get work done and they told me he had over 700.00 worth of work and batteries. I was pretty sure the year of the batteries was 2009, just could not figure the M in the M9. It is a 2003 DS IQ. I kind of felt bad for a while for stealing it. I'm doing better now.

. . . interesting . . I thought Worldwide Battery was a wholesale distributor, not a manufacturer . . . I believe they are out of Indianapolis . . .

This sticker indicates that the batteries were charged by a wholesale distributor in March of 09.
