Thinking about buying a G8
Hello all,
I'm looking at buying a 1993 Yamaha G8 golf cart, The problem is I really need a 4 seater! Was told they dont make a rear seat for the G8 is there one that I can get to fit without much work? (no welder) The cart already has a lift kit and heavy duty springs will it hold the weight of 4 persons? Thanks for your help Skulldriller |

I'm sure a rear seat could be adapted to fit but may require some fab work. HD rear springs should do the job.

Re: Thinking about buying a G8
Welcome to the forum. I feel confident that a seat kit for a G2/G9 could be adapted fairly easy to fit. And the heavy duty springs should be fine. It will just make it ride a little rough when no weight is in the back.

Re: Thinking about buying a G8
Adjust the throttle on the carb. so it will completely close when you let off the gas peddle. Make sure the little spring that closes the throttle isn't missing.

Re: Thinking about buying a G8
I second that mine was missing and it would do that all the time I have to find another spring that would work.
