Default Brake Cables??

After lifting my cart the brake cables sleeves are extremely tight and was wondering what people have done to relieve this problem. do they sell longer brake cables or is there a mod that can be done to solve this problem.

They make a brake cable extension bracket that will re-locate your mounting poit so that the cables are not stretched. I'm sure you can find this available at one of the forum sponsors.

You can also swap sides with the hub to move the actuator/cable to the top . this will gain you a little. I have a 6" lifton my 94cc and it was all I needed. Plus it gets you more ground clearance with the cables.

Willie,

That sounds like it would fix my problem, even if it does not atleast the cables are not hanging down below the cart, that is a great mod for all lifted carts!! thanks for the help.

It looks like you use yours for the same thing I do. This really helps the sticks and limbs to not get hung up. You can search the threads and probably find the posts when I did mine. There is some helpful info in that thread. Good luck!!
