Default Before & After Cree LEDs Precedent light

I replaced the stock 896 lamps with Cree 30W LEDs, photos don't justify the difference. These Cree lamps are 30 Watts vrs the stock 36 incandescent lamps but wow you wouldn't believe the difference and for $30 what a deal.

Looks good! I might have to try that out. Can you post a straight on picture with the LED lights?

That's got your cart looking awesome, Cree LEDs are the way to go! I just put all new Crees in my Envoy headlights and the brightness is unreal.

Here's the difference straight on between a stock halogen foglight bulb and the Cree. They're 3600 Lumen (stock lights are about 1000) lights, powered by a plug and play driver that converts 12 to 24 volts and also powers the minifan on the back of the bulb.

That's just the fogs, I've got 'em in all 6. I also have my high beams wired so that when on high beam the highs, lows, and fogs all come on. In person, the light is much whiter and much brighter, phone cameras often understate the amount of light put out so that the picture will take properly.

From the front, yes Cree is the way to go for sure. I need to do my truck like that.

This: http://www.tbssowners.com/forums/sho...t=cree+drivers is who I got mine from, I'm on another forum that the guy selling them is on also, and I just had to try them. It was WELL worth the money for me, especially since a set of Sylvania Silverstar Ultras that I used to run cost me $50, and these are only a little more and don't burn out after a few months like the SS Ultras.

Were these straight plug-and-play or did you have to make any mods? I have the same light bar on my cart.

Exact same socket, the only difference is these are less wattage used but they produce more lumens and are the 6K whit light. It is an awesome price for Cree.

Can you take a picture sitting in the cart at night to show the projection of light? Brightness at the bulb isn't a way to measure a light bulb. Meaning, if the light is restriking the reflector and bouncing around, you won't get much light projection infront of the light bulb.

I do like their brightness, but I'm wondering how far the bulbs project light and how wide is the illuminated area.

From my experience, I have yet to see an instance where a led bulb throws less light(illuminated area) than a halogen. LED is the future for sure. I hope to do this to my precedent soon.
