Unhappy E-Z-Go battery power loss

I have a lifted, 2013 E-Z-Go with 23 inch tires, 48 volt with 400 amp controller. The problem is I barely get 18 holes of golf before batteries drain. Batteries check out good. Any ideas to get some more distance on a full charge will greatly be appreciated. Thanks!

Change to a tire that can take more air pressure?

Not much power left in the batteries after a full round of golf. The cart slows to a snails pace. I think my cart is too heavy with large tires and wheels, plus all the other stuff I have on it. Thought someone could offer an idea to retain more battery voltage. I even considered a solar panel to trickle charge the batteries and give me an extra mile or two, but reviews aren't too encouraging, plus the cost is prohibitive.

You can get large solar panels at a decent price if you know where and which to buy. I buy from a distributer, Sun Electronics in Miami FL.

Grade B or C panels are less expensive than Grade A, and work just fine. They just have cosmetic defects. Grade C has more cosmetic defects than Grade B. About 22 years ago I replaced a cart roof with 3 panels wired in series and I left it parked in the sun. It worked great on a 36V Marathon. I didn't need to use the charger for over 2 years. When I sold that cart 19 years ago I removed the solar panels and put the factory roof back on.
