Back up to the 25 + mph winds and a gale warning into this evening. Another one of those hunker down days and hope the power stays up ? A P.S. Thought I have around 750 hours on my G 14. At a 20 mph average that comes out to 15,000 miles I have driven in this cart. That doesn't include the hours spent in the HD cart

Just looked on youtube and found a couple of drone videos of parts of the island 1) is "Fortescue south edit 1 1" which shows the road from Fortescue Island out to the neighboring Egg island. These beaches shown are where the GF and I find all of our treasured beach glass.This road where there are no houses is where you can run the cart non stop. 2) "DJI Mavic Mini Fortescue NJ " Shows the marina along with the bridge connecting the mainland to the island". I guess nobody is flying drones over the more inhabited parts of the island. These 2 areas along with the road thru the salt marshes on the mainland is where much of our bird sightings occur such as Bald Eagles , Golden Eagles , Ospreys , Great Blue and Black Crowned Night Herons along with the Great and Snowy Egrets.

Believe it or not you can actually see the roof of my house in the marina side video. Also noticed the video was taken after all the small craft had to be removed from the marina for the season. There is a waiting list to get a dock site in the marina. You can see what a tiny dot of civilization we are surrounded by protected wet lands. Down to 24 tonite

I just seen on VC's facebook site they are hoping to have their billet rods up for sale in february. AND OH NO we got SNOW. First time this winter

Cool video, that is a little place. Looks like that shoreline may have been similar before this was a country. I can see why you have birds there lol. Very nice. I looked for your cart driving around but I didn't see it lol. Its cold here and windy, snowed a little more, not much fun.

Both island together are only 2.2 miles far end to far end. I seen a cart out the other day but didn't catch what is was other then being orange in color. Way too cold out there for me. When it warms up I am hoping to swap the Omega short block in for the Long rod unit. The GF retired at the end of the year and spends more time down here so my timing will have to be carefully planned.She doesn't know I do my cylinder head porting and engine assembly on my kitchen's breakfast bar.
