EZGO Run time
I am new to this carting thing, but love it so far. I am building a 97 TXT for turkey hunting. It is getting a 6 inch lift, 23" swamp fox tires, heavy duty springs, and a 700 amp Logitech controller. I have plans to get Plum Quik to build the motor. I am going to be using it to ride around hunting property to turkey hunt. There are some hills but not alot. I am wondering what kind of run time i am going to get out of the batteries. Anyone with experience with this type of application would be greatly appreciated.

Re: EZGO Run time
The cart should run for 90 minutes of actual peddle time ..... your results will vary

Re: EZGO Run time
If next time I needed batteries, I were to replace them with 8 volt batteries, could i expect a longer run time? If so, how much longer?

Re: EZGO Run time
Longbeard, electric motors eat amps.....lead stores amps the more lead you have the more run time.....so you can get more runtime from eight 6v the siv 8v batteries....What i said before was 90 minutes of actual pushing the peddle down that should equate to someting like 15 miles of 5mph creeping off-road.... Someone correct me if I'm wrong here on the mileage but, I think I'm right

Re: EZGO Run time
creeping around in a cart must be a controller cart thing, resistor carts its peddle to the metal all the time.
