Default Choosing electric cart for BIG tires

Interested in an electric cart. I have never owned one but have helped repair and replace my father’s carts over the years.
I want to run a 30” tire. (There is a reason for this)
The carts main use would be on road/terf, lower speed, some road higher speed, light amount of off road but slower, and it will include hills.
(Put around the property, take trash bags down the road to the dumpster, take to events as transportation)
I build and modify suspension for a living, not concerned about that part.
Need to know what cart is smarter to select, and what general level of $ I will spend to make it not frustratingly bad power levels or if all that is basically impossible or very impractical.
Would do a sxs but many events with not allow them
Thx 👍🏼👍🏼

Whatever base you go with I would consider doing lithium and AC drive system on. Looking at around 4-5k to do both of them with a high end battery. If you want to pinch pennies and build your own battery or buy a more budget friendly battery you can get down into the 3-4k range.

Well, you can't have your cake and eat it too! If you want to stay in the DC field you will have to choose between speed or torque. That said, if torque is your main objective to turn those big 30" tires have a look at Plum Quick motors for a high torque motor. Otherwise do as jasonjordan said and convert to Navitas AC and you'll have both. As far as lithium you'll want a battery that can offer a high discharge current because those tires will demand it. You have a big job to do and i don't think I would choose one of the cheap Chinese options for your battery.

Even with an AC drive, 30" tires will drop the torque near to zero...

If I wanted 30 inch tires on my golf cart I would go with one of the big three,
Ford Chevy or Dodge

If what ojo is saying is true, I would get in touch with Plum Quick and get a high torque motor and maybe the 30' tires would make up for the speed. At least ask their opinion.

Mathematically 30" tires are 67% taller than stock. They will reduce torque by an equal 67% too. For example a 14 hp motor would be reduced to 4.6 hp. So he will have a lot of compensating to do. Consider a lower set of gears a must have.

Yeah, I've just measured the rear wheels of my Chevy truck ( 20" Boss rims, 275/45-20 tires ), they are about 29 inch tall... With that wheels on my golf cart, I think I'd need a 10 inch lift and somebody pushing me to get going.
