![]() Just picked up a stock Tempo. I have no interest in lifting it, I would however like to upgrade the tires and wheels. I would like to give it a low wide stance.

![]() So how tall are your tires now? Stock tires are about 18". For every inch of tire diameter you're only changing ride height by 1/2". A 205/30-12 tire is 17" tall and 8" wide so you only have about 2.5" of sidewall between the rim and the ground. If you want to stay with 18" tires you have several options but just remember that when you increase wheel/rim diameter you will have less sidewall. 12's and 14's will give you a harsher ride due to less sidewall. I have 12's but in hindsight I wish I would have considered 10's. You can get some nice looking 10" wheels and yet still have enough sidewall to get a comfortable ride
