Default New Adventurer 2+2

I'm picking up a new cart tomorrow, an 2014 Adventurer 2+2 EFI. Here it is:

I have a couple of questions. First is how long should I break it in before I tie the governor? Second, will accessories made for the Drive(G29) fit the Adventurer? Things like dash covers and nerf bars.

And the biggest question.....When will Don have some upgrades for the EFI's?

This is my old cart:

I spoke to don about these newer yamaha carts. He is in the testing phases and waiting for some parts to be made for ghe clutches which may be another month or two. He is also working on a tuner for the fuel injection system to be able to change the fuel output when bypassing or adjusting the governor. He didnt specify a timeline for the release of the efi tuner but said the wait will be worth it for us to be patient. No doubt don will nail it and we will all be happy with the results.

So what is the difference between the two? The adventurer has an offroad package?

Gulf States Golf carts is close to the house, I have bought quite a bit from them.

Yes it has a lift kit, off road tires, rear seat, extended roof, bumper, and a few other goodies.

Yamaha claims a 3 inch lift. It has standard light kit along with the things listed above.

I came close to purchasing one but wanted to customize mine with a different style rear seat, wheels/tires, and lift other than the way it comes from yamaha.

My G16 has a Jake's Long travel lift set at 6 inches. My Wife said it is too high and so I thought with the Adventurer being 3 inches that might be a happy median.

Sure does look good with the aftermarket wheels and tires. Are the aftermarkets 12 wheels with 22" tires? Also i wish yamaha would have made the grab handle detachable for the rear seat incase you need to haul something large like a deer etc
