Re: Vc 460
I see Vegascarts has released the 18 amp charging system for the Predator 420. IF you are doing a clone swap and don't want or have the original S/G this is a great option especially at the $149 price. An S/G bracket alone would cost that plus the pulley and belt. More options than ever for clone repowering P.S. There is also the 15 amp system for the Predator 670 for $199

Re: Vc 460
I seen on James Condon's youtube latest He swaps a clone side cover onto an original Honda 390. The Honda front cover had a separate generator mount bolted on to the front cover that was not compatible with any of the generator heads he had. To all the clone bashers the clone front cover was a perfect fit on the Honda and the new set up ran fine. P.S. My Omega engine built from scratch has parts from all kinds of suppliers and fitment was not an issue in any way shape or form

Re: Vc 460
Still Green Head city so no carting. Hoping they are gone early august. The good news my modded horse fly trap has 50 + dead flies. That is a population of 10,000 or so. I wore my bug suit mowing the grass today. Quite a few were on the mesh face cover. Might look like a dork wearing it BUT I don't like getting bit or covering my face and exposed skin with chemicals. With all these precautions still a half a dozen or so have gotten into the car.

Re: Vc 460
Still adding to the body count of Green Heads in my trap. We were able to go to both beaches on sunday. There was enough wind that we didn't get bit. However some others related to us at breakfast in the Marina Cafe just walking the island and being attacked. P.S. We used a car and not the cart as I seen the mean little buggers were around. A couple got into the car while we were getting in BUT were neutralized by Ray quickly P.P.S. I have only been bitten once so far this year.

Re: Vc 460
No the drive system in it died and one wheel in the front broke off. So the boss gave it to me. I cut the front end back and mounted a front wheel back further so I could use it as an ersatz bush hog. To get back my grass area from all the reeds growing in from the abandoned property next door that is what I used. However once I moved here and regularly cut the grass the device was no longer needed.Eventually the saline air got to the clutch mechanism. It needs to go to the dump. I just haven't got around to it. Anything that is in this saline atmosphere and doesn't get used with just seize up. The bay on one side and salt marshes surrounding the rest of the island really take their toll on anything metal except stainless. The salt marshes are the green heads spawning ground. You got to be determined to live here P.S. Good eye
