I have running the cart every day this week. There are some Green Heads out there BUT so far not to the point where you don't want to go. The Omega engine continues to amaze me

Today for the first time this season I had a few Green Heads buzz me in the cart. So far it has been a very light season of them BUT it is earlier than usual for their appearance. The week of the 4th is more the norm. Some years there are literally black swarms of them all around anything with an engine. At one time I was seriously considering buying and building up a sparky out of one of the dead precedents that there are a few of on the island.

Today was the trash and gas run. So at the dump 7 miles off the island there were Green Heads and nine miles in Cedarville at the gas station there were Green Heads.So even a fair amount inland those buggers are there

They were calling for all kinds of heavy weather last nite. I am not sure if we even got a spritz. Grass is burn't to a crisp

I got a couple of runs in today. A few bugs but no swarms. MAYBE a near no Green Head season ? Also seen my glass fuel filter was fairly dirty. Pulled it out and apart a gave it a thorough cleaning
