![]() I have a 2025 Evolution D5 Plus and purchased cable CC-CBL-EVO2SE cable to go along with Software EV48-400-C and I am not able to connect the software to the cart (see attached picture). I have installed both drivers that were in the download package and still not able to connect. I have reset the connection to the cart and computer multiple times along with restarting the computer and cycling the golf cart off/on multiple times.
Golf Cart: On Controller: EV48-400-C (see attached picture) Cable: CC-CBL-EVO2SE Software: EV48-400-C Drivers: CH340 CH341Driver & PL2303_Prolific_DriverInstaller_v1.12.0-new-UGREEN Would anyone be able to assist? Thank you in advance! |

![]() you might just have the wrong comm port.
Go to the Other tab and Serial Port dropdown, select the port where your cable is connected |

There are no other options for me to select...it has "Port 3" (where cable is connected) and blank. Thanks for the tip though. |

I guess it could be a bad cable. Or a driver conflict. You have drivers installed that I never have needed for a cart cable and windows. They just work out of the box for me I can't tell in your picture. Do you have the correct comm settings? Does device manager say the port is functioning? When you pull the cable, device manager shows that port gone? |

![]() Problem was using a Mac with Windows installed via Parallels Desktop.
Purchased a cheap Windows 11 laptop, installed drivers and software and had no issues connecting to the cart. Does anyone have “recommended” settings for the Evolution D5? Thank you for your assistance! |

![]() Jay, I wanted a bit more speed so I made the following changes to my D5:
Under the "Standard Gear Mode" tab I set the "H Gear Peak Forward Speed (RPM)" to 5750. That got me 30/31 mph. Under the "Accelerator" tab i wanted a bit more deceleration (drag) when lifting the throttle so I doubled the decel values in all the rpm ranges - so for example the 0-500 rpm went from 2 to 4. Good luck! |

![]() In my experience, I was not able to use Parallels Mac program to successfully connect to the cart (see first post with what I was experiencing). I had to buy a cheap $250 Windows PC just for this reason. At least I have offset the $$$ by programming 2 other carts, so has made it a smaller “pill to swallow”.
