Default Mosasaur 105 AH off Amazon

I contemplating an upgrade to lithium for my RXV and had been thinking about a Vatrer as it seems like a good battery and BMS for the price. I just came across one that looks identical using the same display for $270 less after the coupons. Any thoughts? I saw one post after a successful installation but was hoping for additional feedback.

My son in law bought the Mosasaur lithium last month. It was an easy install and works great here on our hilly course. He can play three rounds of golf on one charge. His cart is a RXV.

That looks just about identical to the Vatrer. Probably no difference
This one also looks the same for even a little less

You know the potentially risk with lithium and the RXV? An abruptly battery shut down on a golf yard isn't that bad but, driving at 30+ mph on the street is a different scenario. I don't know, if these batteries really hold what's advertised

Check their costumer service and warranty, exchange, replacement policies.
Example I bought a valtere battery few weeks ago. Noticed it had a bad weather tight connector on it that plugged into dash mounted display.
Contacted Valtere, new display and connector shipped to me no questions asked.
A reason I choose valtere. After sales support can make the difference in what brand you choose.
Your choice does have mostly good reviews 😊

I did notice their warranty is for 5 years and the identical Vatrer is 10 years. I suspect what you pointed out is the difference in cost.

This also appears to be the same as the Vatrer but the link you posted doesn't come with a charger. They have a Amazon SKU that includes the charger...is the same as the Mosasaur after coupon discounts...no mention of a warranty on the Spiderway product listing though.

I went to the Mosasaur web site and they have a graphic on the main page that says "8 Year Warranty". In the FAQ they state it is a 5 year warranty. No support phone number listed like Vatrer...just an email address. Doesn't give me a whole lot of confidence that the product support will be worth the difference in price.

Definitely something to consider. I see that you have a 30+ MPH 2009 RXV with a lithium battery. Do you have a work-around to insure the e-brake doesn't engage if the battery goes dead or do you just have confidence that your battery won't shut down.
