Does the tool linked earlier work on '24 Evolution D5 carts?
Also, does anyone know if the same controller is in the Denago carts, and for that matter, what type / model controller is it?

For D5's with the 400-C controller, you'll need the gef12 sw. The newer version of that is called ev48-400-c

For D5's with FJ controller, you'll use the ev programming tool.

ID your D5 controller by going to:

The denago probably has the fj controller so you'll be able to use the ev programming tool but may need an update to the flic and fdev files

The FJ controllers are the cheap commodity controller in the market. They're in many carts of all kinds of cheap-o import brands. They seem to be decent and dependable. Easy to program though the firmware is locked to 6K max rpm.

The 400-C is from an unknown manufacturer and AFAIK only in a few Evolution models. It has similar tuning capabilities (speed, acceleration) as the FJ though with a different OEM sw tool. Also max 6K rpm. On the various forums/groups, people seem to report a lot more fault codes with the 400-C than the FJ.

Sir, I would like to purchase a cable. I have a 2023 PDG from Tractor Supply. I believe it has the Evo controller discussed here and I would like to increase speed.
